Bhama is a Malayalam actress who was born on 1988 as Rekthika in Manarkadu, Kottayam. Before entering in to films she was doing a matrimonial programme on television titled Thaali and also done a christian devotional album. Bhama made her debut through the Malayalam movie 'Nivedyam' directed by A.K Lohitdas.
For her performance in Nivedyam she has won various awards for the newcomer in Malayalam including FILM CRITICS AWARD, Sathyan Memorial Film Awards, ALA AWARD and VANITHA NIPPON AWARD in 2007. In 2008 she debut in Tamil with the hit movie 'Ellam Avan Seyyal'. She has done the heroine role in one of the superhit movies of 2009 'Ivar Vivahitharayal' opposite Jayasurya.
